Previous clients include,National Contractors,

What is resin bonded aggregates and why should i choose it?

Resin bonded/bound aggregate surface dressing is relatively new to the UK,it was installed initially around historic sites and universities, 15 years ago.The main reason for their choice was that it can be laid over the existing surface whether concrete or tarmac without the need for excavation or disruption,making it a very competively priced surface compared to traditional paving solutions.
Householders currently looking to smarten up the appearence of their properties are looking for a solution which is quick and easy to install and that doesnt involve the mess that excavation can cause, also this system is a maintenance free and anti skid surface.The aggregate comes with a wide choice of colours and styles and for interior surfaces we can offer recycled glass beads.

How the process will work for me

Initially your site surveyed and you are provided with a written quotation for the work involved.
Upon acceptance of our quotation we can arrange a date to commence the preparotory work involved which may include filling any cracks or joints and cleaning and primming the surface.
On the installation day areas are masked off including grates and covers.
Bonded aggregate-The resin is spread out over the surface and the aggregate is broadcast over the surface and allowed to cure for between 2 and 24 hours.The aggregate is swept off Your job is now completed with a life expectancy of 8-10 depending on use.

Bound aggregate-the aggregate and binder are mixed in a special forced action mixer,poured
raked and compacted level by hand using a trowel and allowed to cure.All work and materials are guranteed for 5 years.
