This attractive market town is centred around a Buttercross which was erected in 1777.

The remains of a Norman Castle (not open to the public) overlook the picturesque milldam and village hosts a number of designer boutiques and popular restaurants.

Tickhill is a parish town situated in a vale. It is Only 4 miles from Bawtry, 7 miles from Doncaster and only 9 miles from Worksop (Notts which is also known as Robin Hood country.
