After leaving a bike with him for a job, quoted at a week, I called in 2 weeks later to find he hadn't even started it. No courtesy call, nothing. He then started whining that he was incredibly busy and it "Wasn't a standard job". (He was banging on how he works late into the evening when I first went there, so as to not let anyone down. The job was a new front mech, cables and indexing, and fitting forks. 26" forks, into a 24" frame, not standard, but totally do-able and no issue). I mentioned it was pretty poor that he hadn't even looked at it after 2 weeks and not contacted me. As I collected the incomplete bike he showed me the workshop where "Most of these bikes are overdue" saying "So I'm not lazy, whatever way you try and fabricate it"!! I hadn't even mentioned lazy, just woefully unprofessional. Wouldn't trust this man to do anything. Absolutely appalling. There are other FAR more professional bike shops within 15 minutes drive, use them, not this rude old unprofessional man.
