Untrustworthy and unreliable

I had booked a pet sit for my dogs through pet checkers for a trip to Japan, I had previously used them on many occasions before and had been happy with my original sitter, unfortunately she recently left the company and the owner disclosed to me in writing that their previous employee had done a number of things for customers they were unaware of including the transporting of animals and walking them further a field. It was alarming they did not know what staff were getting up to and an insurance risk especially as I have a reactive dog. On investigating this further it turned out the owner had lied and on being challenged about this she became vindictive and cancelled all our pet sits at 2 weeks notice of travel, knowing if I couldn't make alternative arrangements I would have to cancel my holiday. I also had to inform them they were in breach of contract by holding onto my house keys and I would need to report them stolen if they did not return them. Be very careful of these guys!!!
